Richard Lang, founder of LAN Exteriors, was frustrated with the poor customer service and lack of attention on sustainability provided by his former employers and many other landscapers. In 2014 he decided to raise the bar in the industry by brining together a team with over 50 years of combined professional experience who share a passion for service, sustainability, and landscape excellence.

Richard Lang
Founder, Principal Landscaper
Richard brings over 25 years of experience in all facets of the landscape management and construction industries, as well as a passion for landscape excellence and providing first class service. As founder and Principal Landscaper at LAN Exteriors Richard is responsible for overseeing all of the operations and business administration. Richard works closely with his skilled team to identify opportunities to offer innovative solutions, first class service, and further develop the business. He received his degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Richard resides in Northern New Jersey with his wife and three children where he enjoys spending his free time barbequing and (not surprisingly) landscaping.
Anthony Bucca
Director, Corporate Strategy
Anthony’s passion for business strategy, first class service, and operational excellence directly coincide with LAN Exteriors vision, mission, and values. Prior to joining LAN Exteriors Anthony spent most of his career as an Auditor and CPA where he focused on operational effectiveness, service standards, financial analysis, and cost effectiveness. Anthony is tasked with developing the behind the scenes business functions at LAN Exteriors as the business continues to grow. He enjoys identifying opportunities for improvement and setting customer service standards. Anthony holds a BSBA in Accounting from The Catholic University of America and an MBA from The University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. Anthony enjoys spending his free time traveling and being a foodie.
Jose Mejias
District Manager
Jose serves as the front-line contact on the job site and ensures the operations are running smoothly. He also serves as a liaison between clients and the grounds crew to ensures first class service and excellence in job execution. He brings over 25 years of experience to LAN Exteriors and has worked at large scale landscape management firms for most of his career. His experience has proven to be invaluable with respect to understanding and utilizing successful practices and identifying potential problem areas prior to their development. He is intimately involved with each property and often visits each location several times weekly. Jose resides in Northern New Jersey with his two children.

Staff Associate
LAN Exteriors is currently hiring a Staff Associate to join the management team and assist with a variety of office tasks. As a fast growing start-up company every day is different at LAN Exteriors. On any given day you may find yourself generating and mailing invoices to clients, working on putting together a proposal for a prospective client, arranging a lunch-and-learn session with property managers, or traveling to a trade show to help promote our business. The Staff Associate position will require a minimum of 25 hours + per week and will ideally materialize into a full-time position over time. If you thrive in fast-paced and ever-changing environments, value innovation, and are passionate about first class service, we want to hear from you!
